Are we really halfway through the season? It’s that time again when Tyra and the gang seek to elongate our devotion as long as possible by showing us an hour of things we’ve already seen and still calling it a new episode. Oh wait, they do insert about four-and-a-half minutes of new, UNSEEN footage that somehow lacks the luster of the DVD extras on a movie like “Anchorman.†So since we’ve already discussed the cuts, bitch fights and head-shavings they repackaged this week, I’ll keep this short. Here I present a list of things I didn’t really need to know about our little models in the making:
1. Bianca did something to the toilet that required her to learn how to use a plunger for the first time and confirmed that her skinny ass actually ate something.
2. Jenna coped with not being able to smoke after the Tyra-imposed ban on cancer sticks this cycle by balling up scraps of what appeared to be leftover food and throwing it at her house mates before running away, only to smash her face against the side of the pool and knock out half a front tooth.
3. The dearly-departed Victoria from Yale got so sick from a combination of sea-sickness (and the stupidity of the other would-be models) that she collapsed on the Caribbean casting cruise and exposed her undies to the world when her tiny denim skirt couldn’t cope with the major movement said collapse required. I didn’t know self-proclaimed nerds and fashion geeks kept cute, skimpy skirts in their everyday rotation.
And that’s about it. See, I told you it wasn’t that exciting! I did my best. Next time we get back to the good stuff. I think Ambreal is getting the long-awaited shaft next. The girl can (could?) move, but she’s overstayed her welcome by a few episodes now. Who do you think is out next?
