Last Second, Desperate Shoppers! Nothing Says “I care” Like Biodegradable Poop Bags

Nothing Says “I care” Like Biodegradable Poop BagsDo you own a dog? Do you live in Los Angeles? If you answered yes to both of these questions, you need biodegradable poop bags. Okay, they’re not really called ‘poop’ bags; Petco lists them as ‘waste’ bags. But, that’s what they are and that’s what they’re for. Poop. (Standing on my soapbox.)

We dog owners need to be doing our part. No more using an old Ralph’s bag that will only sit in a landfill until the end of time after you’ve used it to scoop up Fido’s mess. Hey you, (you know who you are, I’ve seen you) head to your neighborhood pet store and pick up some today. They even have scented bags! My dog Hogan likes lavender, but the citrus is nice. Well, nice compared to the smell of poop.

While you’re at the pet store, pick up a cute little container for your biodegradable bags and hang it from your dog’s leash. That way, you’ll always have a bag and you’ll never have to leave the poop on the ground. (It’s against the law, people!) There are many dispensers to choose from. My dog prefers to be all-cool with the plain silver and black poop bag holder but if your dog is the type that wears sweaters, you may want to consider the cutesy one shaped like a fire hydrant. Seriously, there are tons at any pet store. Make it your New Year’s Resolution! Resolve to be a better dog owner. Resolve to pick up poop in eco-friendly style!
