Aliens vs. Predator - Requiem with Reiko Aylesworth, Steven Pasquale, Shareeka Epps, John Ortiz, Johnny Lewis, Kristen Hager, David Hornsby. Plot’s in the title. This time they take it to earth. Done. Blah.
The Bucket List with Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman. Two completely different men, unite in a hospital room and go on the road trip of their life and become best friends. Two great actors strutting their stuff, sounds perfect if you want something sweet, enjoyable, and lite after your Holiday week.
The Great Debater with Denzel Washington, Forest Whitaker, Kimberly Elise, Nate Parker. A movie set in the Jim Crow South about using education to change the world and break the social “norms”. Could be great.
Persepolis (Limited) with Catherine Deneuve, Chiara Mastroianni. This black and white cartoon is about a young girl growing up in Iran during the Islmasic Revolution and finding her identity away from her homeland. Looks artsy and well put together.
The Water Horse: Legend of the Deep with Emily Watson, Ben Chaplin, Alex Etel, David Morrissey, Craig Hall, Joel Tobeck. Ummm…well…up to you. Might be charming. Probably good graphics. But with a tag line like “Coming to a Loch near you,” I think I may pass.

There Will Be Blood - Daniel Day-Lewis, Paul Dano, Ciaran Hinds, Kevin J. O’Connor. Kick ass, Director Anderson and Daniel Day-Lewis have come together with this gem about corruption, greed, oil, and the American dream at its worst. Sounds awesome!
Friday, December 28 -
The Orphanage (Limited) with Belén Rueda, Geraldine Chaplin, Mabel Rivera, Fernando Cayo, Montserrat Carulla, Andrés Gertrúdix. Amazing Director. Great ghost story. Builds the suspense without getting silly. Highly recommended for those who enjoy a GOOD horror film.
