- Pissed off judge doubles OJ’s bail to $250,000 - Simpson, now 60, was charged with armed robbery, in which he pleaded innocent to, he said he was only trying to get back items that an agent stole from him. Apparently Simpson had violated his bale and District Judge Jackie Glass did not take it lightly and said she would not tolerate such behavior. She also stated “I don’t know, Mr. Simpson, what the heck you were thinking, or maybe that’s the problem — you weren’t,” Glass said. “I don’t know if it’s just arrogance. I don’t know if it’s ignorance. But you’ve been locked up at the Clark County Detention Center since Friday because of arrogance or ignorance or both.”
- Benjamin Claude Adams pleaded guilt to a fake marriage today - 30 year-old Adams stated today that he was involved in a marriage to help Yuliya Mikhailovna Kalinina gain US citizenship. Both parties may get five years in jail and up to $250,000 fine. Apparently the two met on Craigslist, where Kalinina stated she wanted to marry for citizenship and would pay them $15,000. One month later they were married by her live in boyfriend Dmitri Chavkerov, an Internet-ordained minister. On November 29th both were arrested, Adams has pleaded guilty and Kalinina has pleaded innocent.
- Warner Brothers has laid off fewer than 36 employees - Early this week Warner Bros. was accused of firing 1,000 of their employees due to the ongoing strike. Although they did have to make some cuts that were not nearly a severe as reported. Although 1,000 employees were sent warnings that they could be laid off if the strike continues.
- Eddie Murphy splits for wife after 15 days - On new years eve, Eddie Murphy took Tracey Edmund to be his lawfully wedded wife. 15 days later, they’re calling it quits, and have decided to just remains “friends.”

[...] OJ flies home, day after being told off by judge - Just yesterday OJ was accused of having “arrogance or ignorance - or both” by a judge in Nevada for trying to break his parole and today he is on a flight home to Miami.
