A person will find ENDLESS opportunities to get unique stuff for great prices downtown. A person will also find endless opportunities to get crappy junk for inflated prices downtown.
One purchase that makes all of our spinal cords bleed is rugs. Thousands of dollars for what? I’m going to walk on it. My friends are going to spill wine on it. My children will try to eat it.
I found the International Rug Depot downtown where I can buy the Persian looking rugs I love at prices that fit my budget (picture open wallet with haggard moth climbing out, not even trying to flutter his wings). They have quality rugs from all over the world, all at eye-bulgingly low prices.
The store is owned by Shani, a young, straight shooting guy who will work with you on prices; the more you buy, the more discounts he can afford. Shani and his family operate the business together. Everything Shani has ever told me or someone I sent to him has been accurate. So, you can trust what he says.
Here is some important advice: Take a sheet of paper (8.5×11) and paint it with the color(s) of the room where you plan to keep the rug. We bought all the rugs in our apartment from International Rug Depot and get compliments whenever we entertain.
I took a pregnant girlfriend in with her twenty month old daughter. Shani’s Uncle Fred told us to focus on the rugs and he would take care of the tot. At one point, I looked over and Uncle Fred was letting the little one run and jump all over the rugs and they were both giggling. I think he was having as much fun as she was!
The selection appears enormous as you walk in, but it’s even bigger than what you see! They can order most of the rug designs in different colors, shapes, and sizes. Shani offers an exchange guarantee and free delivery.
Rock on, Shani!!
