Although the typical roses, chocolate and romantic dinner venue is a time tested approach, making Valentine’s Day unique is really what showing someone you care is all about. For those who are planning to spend the day out rather than in, Word Theatre L.A in Hollywood has a very special night planned for lovebirds with a tribute to love scenes from past and present films.
“Hot Flicks: Love Scenes From the Silver Screen” features performances by a bevy of actors and actresses (with more to be announced) on Thursday, February 14 including:
•Illeana Douglas (Goodfellas, Six Feet Under)
•Christina Pickles (Friends, The Wedding Singer)
•Chris Gorham (Ugly Betty, Jake 2.0)
•Amanda Seyfried (Big Love, Mean Girls and this summer’s Mamma Mia!)
The show runs from 7:00 p.m to 10:00 p.m and includes one hour of passed hors d’ouvres before the performance. Tickets are $40, however they go up to $50 after 5 p.m on Monday, February 11, so get them while you still can.
