- JetBlue finally adds another location in LA - As of May 21st the airline will start flying out of LAX! A huge benefit to those of us who love the cheap flights, but hate having to get to Burbank or Long Beach. I have flown JetBlue a number of times and loved it (another time they tried to kick me off the plane after I “wouldn’t” sit down because they sat someone else is my seat - your call).
- Some of LA traffic may be due to poor light synchronization - Ever driven down a street and hit every red light and screamed obscenities at it? Good news is, you’re not insane! Believe it or not, the city rates the way that’s traffic lights are sync-ed. What did good ol’ LA get? It got a, D! We’re nearly failing! LA and OC are pushing to make their lights work in sync but the process costs 150 millions and it is unclear where that funding will come from.
- 10 people injured in an 18-car pile up - Ten people were transported to the local hospital with minor to moderate injures. Three people had to be extracted from their vehicles after they slammed into a big rig. A bus full of tourists on their way to Ag Expo from Canada was also involved in the accident.
- Carolyn Yvonne Ko, 44, pleads not guilty to bigamy charges - A La Quinta business woman allegedly married Brian Davies in April 2004, while still married to Steven Satterstrom of Phoenix in March 2002. Ko was charged with bigamy, the first case in this state. She claims to have got a divorce in Mexico, but Satterstrom said that they never filed. Who do you believe?
