I met Yvonne Black yesterday by pure chance…the sun had just begun to show itself and there she was visiting a store I love to frequent and was discussing the option to showcase her line. I couldn’t help but over hear, “I came up with the name because of a fast response I always have ready… you know when you’re walking down the street and a bunch of construction workers yell profane and vulgar things at you? I would readily quip YOU WISH!…when the first designs manifested of my line I could not help but think of that phrase, and the name stuck.”
What I truly love about her line is how she caters to every individuals woman body type…and does nothing to mask…but rather accentuate. She sells the pieces separately for as we all know the woman who has the same size top and bottom is rare. For the self concious she does beautiful pleats and coverage and for the thin she does ruffles and mid bottom stitching to accentuate the behind. And the tops…just compliment the bosom so well every woman feels like she will be saying “You Wish” to someone that very same way.
She describes her line as: “This line is available in two groups; Sea and Sand. Sea offers the same silhouette and fit as Sand, but with fuller coverage for the conservative girl. The focus of our swimwear is the fit. Extreme low rise cuts with flattering shirred bottoms.” This way the Crown collection is “allows the consumer to express herself in a unique way.”
