A round up of all the recent injuries, murders, and wounded in the LA area. Today every single death was caused by a misunderstanding and a gun. From police to random shootings, everyone is guilty of pulling the trigger too fast.
- An argument leads to shooting on the 101 - Two people were shot on the 101 following an argument between the passengers of two different vehicles. The victims drove away onto the freeway and the suspect chased after them and began firing shots. One victim was grazed, the other wounded. The driver managed to pull off at Lankershim and an ambulance took them to the hospital. Their condition has not been released. The shooter has not been found.
- Police shot and kill unarmed teen - Two days ago it was reported that police shot and killed a teen who was swinging a weapon and running at police. But now things are a little unclear. A teenager who witnessed the incident said that his friend [was] fatally shot by a Los Angeles motorcycle while he was trying to surrender and wasn’t carrying anything in his hands. Capt. Kris Pitcher has responded by saying “There is absolutely no credence to any part of his story… It is absolutely untrue.” More to come.
- 1 dead and 1 injured in unexplained Koreatown shooting - At 11:50pm last night, two victims were attacked but an unexplained shooting, possibly gang related. Both shooting victims were taken to a local hospital, where one victim was pronounced dead and the other was treated and released.
