Thursday at Nicole’s (in South Pasadena), they’ll be hosting a tasting of some great wines with some even more fantastic cheeses.

• ‘04 Les Touches, Muscadet sur Lie, Loire Valley paired with Tradition du Berry (goat’s milk) from P. Jacquin, Berry
• 06 Domaine de Brigue, Rose, Provence paired with Brin d’Amour (sheep’s milk), Corsica
• 06 Saisons de Beauchene, Cotes du Rhone paired with Fougerus Coulommiers (cow’s milk), Seine-et-Marne
• 05 Chateau Sorbey, Haut Medoc, Bordeaux paired with Beaufort (cow’s milk), French Alps, Savoie
• ‘98 Chateau La Grave, Sainte Croix du Mont, Bordeaux paired with Roquefort L’Aigle Noir (sheep’s milk) from Chantal Plasse, Roquefort-sur-Soulzon.
