
A weekend roundup of all those wounded in Los Angeles today
- Two shot in road rage incident - Two people were shot, one critically in a road-rage incident at a Sun Valley intersection, early today according to authorities. The fight broke out at 12:50 a.m. when both vehicles pulled over and passengers began fighting. One passenger retrieved a handgun from the vehicle and fired shots into the other car. One person suffered an abdomen wound and the other a leg wound, both were transported to a nearby hospital.
- Shooting near Hollywood nightclub - Three people were shot near the Guatelinda nightclub at 4916 Hollywood Blvd. early this morning authorities said. No arrests were made and no suspect description was provided.
- Injured hiker rescued after fall - A man whose name was not immediately released was rescued after falling some 200 feet while hiking near Palm Springs. His son, who was with him, used a cellphone to call for help. They also had a locator beacon, but the snowstorm made it impossible to rescue them overnight.
- So Cal braces for heavy rains and snow - Gail warnings and small craft advisories remain in place for coastal waters of Southern California Sunday. Sustained winds of 25-30 miles per hour, with gusts up to 35 mph will be heading our way, The National Weather Service has said. Angeles Forest Highway was closed overnight due to snow and ice.
