Wine, cheese, chocolate… It seems like they have tastings for just about anything. And as Caroline on Crack informs us, this really takes the cake:
3 on Fourth will be hosting a having a salt tasting evening, where they’ll be showcasing Himalayan salt, allegedly the world’s purest.
Each dish will also be paired with a sake, which really seems completely random to me. But hey, if you have $45 burning a hole in your pocket and have trouble retaining water, then make a reservation for the March 26th event. Give them a call at (310) 395-6765.

Here’s the menu:
- Himalayan Salt-seared asparagus and Wagyu beef
- Himalayan Salt-cured halibut and Kampachi Sashimi
- Housemade potato chips with citrus salt
- Sweet cherry port jellies with fleur de sel

- Sea salt caramels with Lavender Gray Salt
As well as salty beverages:
- Saltini - vodka, baby tomatoes, Six Pepper Salt
- Margarita with Lime Flake Salt
- Salty Dog (grapefruit, vodka) with Tangerine Salt
- Six Pepper Bloody Mary
- Coronitas with Lime Flake Salt
At $25, this one’s a steal by comparison.
