This week it seemed like everyone but Britney Spears got in trouble. I’ve been waiting a long time to write that sentence. Thank you Brit Brit. Thank you.
- Scott Weiland of Stone Temple Pilots (and Velvet Revolver until recently) is going to jail. He got 192 hours for a DUI, his second, after pleading ‘no contest’ to the charge. He also has to complete an 18-month alcohol program and pay almost $2,000 in fines. The sad thing is that he was barely over the legal limit (.08%) and you know that dude probably doesn’t even start feeling it until he’s way over that. I’ll bet it takes at least 10 beers to get him buzzed. He’s such a hot mess. I have bowl tickets for June so hopefully they’ll pull a Nicole Richie and he’ll be out in an hour.
- Gary Dourdan from CSI was arrested in Palm Springs on Monday. He was asleep in his car when police approached and arrested him for suspicion of heroine possession. They found heroine, cocaine, ecstasy and prescription drugs on him. What, no weed? He must’ve smoked it all at Coachella or something.
- Victim’s family demands to see Brandy’s phone records from the day of the crash. Awatef Aboudihaj was killed last year when the singer’s Range Rover crashed into the back of her Honda on the 405 freeway. The family of the victim claims Brandy was talking on her cell phone and not paying attention.
- Miley Cyrus was forced to apologize for photos she took for an upcoming issue of Vanity Fair. This seems like a whole lot of hoopla over nothing, as famed photographer Annie Leibovitz took the portraits and Miley’s parents were present at the shoot. Show me a sex tape or pictures of Miley knocked up like Jaime Lynn Spears and then maybe I’ll care but probably not.
- Sweet angel Britney Spears will reprise her roll on How I Met Your Mother. The episode will air on May 12. This is just shocking. I thought that show was serious television and now it seems like all they care about are ratings. I’m just kidding. I’ve never watched that show and all television is about ratings. I’m merely delighted to see Britney doing well and to know that somewhere Dogie Howser pissed off right now. Awesome.
