LA is a continually evolving place, and over recent years, the place has actually started to become something of a real city. An ever-growing foodie scene is only part of that manifestation, however. While LA has always had it’s fair share of charming watering holes, the drink selection has for the most part, well, sucked.
But all that is changing! Proof is in the LA Times itself: they’ve begun a beer-of-the-month selection headed by LA Times foodie Charles Perry.
Father’s Office, Footsie’s and several other spots with a halfway decent beer selection are starting to get more recognition, and it’s about time. I mean how long an you go on well drinks, right?
This month’s selection is a Pennsylvania Pilsner called Prima Pils. Check out the review for yourself.
