Cinco de Mayo is upon us once again! Hooray!
But for those of you who, for whatever reason, aren’t keen on Mexican food, I’ve come up with something for you: the most painfully whitebread, and yet still potentially yummy combination of both worlds - the Margarita Cupcake.
Granted the recipe is via a Boston-based website (which I found in turn through Serious Eats), but this was just perfect enough to make my list. I can imagine a large segment of people in the Valley who would just love this recipe.
And while the recipe probably won’t provide you with quite the kick you might be hoping for from these tasty-sounding treats, no one is stopping you from liberally sprinkling the frosted delights with your favorite agave juice. Silver or gold? Choices, choices…
