
- Lancaster infant killed - An infant was found dead this morning at a home in the Antelope Valley, authorities said. Los Angeles County sheriff’s homicide detectives are on the scene, but few details have been released about how the infant died. It is also unclear if anyone was been arrested. The infant, whose name, age and gender have not been released, was discovered at about 7:15 a.m.
- Man crashes into hotel, dies of heart attack - A man who crashed into a hotel in South Los Angeles Saturday night suffered a fatal heart attack. It was unclear if the heart attack occurred before or after the accident, which took place at the Desert Inn at 11617 S. Western Ave. at about 9:15 p.m., said sheriff’s Lt. Patrick Bearse of the Lennox station. The man’s name was not immediately released and no injuries were reported at the hotel.
- Palmdale house party gone deadly - Two people were injured and a 17-year-old died following a knife fight at a house party in Palmdale Friday. Investigators say several uninvited guests showed up at the party and as an argument led to a fight, three people were stabbed. The 17-year-old victim died, while a second man remains in critical condition. The third victim was treated and released. No arrests have been made in the matter.
