red-wine.jpgCalgon has never helped me forget my troubles, but a good glass of wine has delivered on several occasions. There are days when nothing will else will do - so be prepared with the list below just in case one of those days hits next week!

Saturday: You could spend the better part of a day wine-tasting at BottleRock in Culver City. Every Saturday tastings run from 1-4pm, prices vary. 3847 Main St, Culver City, 310.836.9463

Sunday: What better way to get ready for the week ahead than to enjoy Wine Lover’s Night at BOA Steakhouse in Santa Monica. Every Sunday night all bottles of wine are ½ off. 101 Santa Monica Blvd, Santa Monica, 310.899.4466

Monday: The first day of the week can be rough. You deserve to spoil yourself with a visit to Josie in Santa Monica. Every Monday there is no corkage fee, so feel free to bring your own. Limit 2 bottles per table. 2424 Pico Blvd, Santa Monica, 310.581.9888

Tuesday: Still have money to burn after your trip to BOA on Sunday? Spend the other half at Hal’s in Venice. Select bottles are half-off every Tuesday. 1349 Abbot Kinney Blvd, Venice, 310.396.3105

Wednesday: LearnAboutWine.com’s May 14 class called “The Chocolate Chateau” at Le Chateau in Beverly Hills is sold out, and since you’re in the area swing by Enoteca Drago for their Wednesday wine tasting with sommelier Alessandro Sbrendola. $25, not including tax or gratuity. 410 N. Thursday: Relive your college days and start the weekend on Thursday with a class at The Wine House On May 15th, host Glen Knight will guide you through a selection of West Coast Pinot Noirs. $48, call for reservations. 2311 Cotner Avenue, Los Angeles, 310.626.9463

    Ditto on the Calgon for me too. Sonds like a large bathtub fof wine would do better!
