They have already released two CD’s, the first was in 2006, entitled Bee of Gold, and the second was released in 2007 titled, An Ocean in the Air.

The band’s motto is that “it’s better to be good than lucky. You can check them out at Spaceland May 19th orat the Detroit Bar (in Costa Mesa) on the 20th.

What was the first record/cd/tape you ever bought? And where did you buy it?

Milli Vanilli at Tower Records.

How long have you been playing music?

10 years

What’s the best cure for a hangover?

Not drinking at all, but if I did have a hangover, Wonder Bread and Diet 7 Up first thing when you wake up seems to do the trick.

How do you get ready for a live show?

Voice exercises, warm water, and finger exercises.

What’s your favorite song to play live?

It changes all the time, usually it’s the latest song we’ve written that we’re most excited about, so right now Signs, we’ll be recording it for our full length.

What’s your guilty pleasure?

Golden Girls re-runs. I love Rose, she makes me laugh the most.

Dead or alive. What 5 acts would you have play with you at a festival?

Dead too? awesome…

1) Elvis Presley 2) Lee Hazelwood 3) Eggstone 4) Karen Carpenter 5) Neil Diamond

How did you come up with the name for your band?

Everyone chose three or four they really liked from different sources and then we chose the best one, LoveLikeFire was by far the best one.

What were come of the other contenders?

Florabunda, Raised By City Lights, The Buster Browns, some even worse that I can’t remember right now.

If you could rid the world of one song, what would it be?

Sex and Candy by Marcy Playground, it just won’t go away. They still play it on the radio and that’s a shame.

Who would play you in a film based upon your life?

Anne Hathaway (not just ’cause we have the same name!)

What message(s) do you hope your songs send out to listeners?

That people can feel like they are “found” in some part of our music. We like to write a lot about people going through a lot of changes in their lives, emotional and environmental and I think that people can relate to that and be touched by it.

What was your favorite venue for a show?

Record Bar in Kanas City, MO they have delicious food and treat bands like family.

What’s your most memorable experience on the road story?

Driving 16 hours, no sleep or shower, to play to 6 people, I knew then that we could pretty much do anything after that.

What’s the best piece of advice someone has ever given you and did you take notice?

Enjoy the present, stop thinking ahead. Everything that makes you happy is happening now, it’s not gonna happen in two days or two years or once something else happens. That will just be another wonderful moment. But for now, enjoy the present state of well being.

What would be your perfect LA day?

I LOVE LA weather. Walking around in Los Feliz with my vanilla Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf tasty beverage and enjoying the sun.

What would be the best compliment someone could give you about your music?

That our music has touched them. I got a nice e-mail from a girl a couple days ago” “You just get it, I can listen to every song and it goes into what I would have wanted it to, dose that make sense?” :)

Stuff like this makes me feel good.

What three things could you not live without?

Myspace, my fuzzy brown cardigan, and pasta roni at the moment.

Tell us a fact about yourself we probably don’t already know.

I was valedictorian in high school and summa cum laude in college, I’m scholarly!!
