Join a panel of writers, thinkers and activists as they discuss the joys of the taco truck, their place in Los Angeles culture and the politics behind the new regulations. Pulitzer Prize winning food writer Jonathan Gold, “The Gospel of Food” author Barry Glassner, Chris Rutherford, co-founder of saveourtacotrucks.org and Chowhound.com’s C. Thi Nguyen will be at the event to discuss the future of the taco truck.

With this event, organizers hope to preserve a cultural landmark, raise the funds necessary to save one of the last remaining low income housing projects in the Bronx and deliver a taste test for everything Hip Hop has to offer.
