Local News: Last Day to Register to Vote for Primaries!

voterbutton08-05-19Today is the last day to register to vote for the June 3rd primary election! Hopefully you’re already registered and ready to go. But don’t forget if you have moved, got married, changed your name, or turned 18, you need to re-register (or register) to vote by 5pm today! Five locations will stay open until 9pm and three Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk’s offices, will be staying open until midnight for those of you who can’t make it before 5, so there is no excuse!

You can register at at any local DMV, public library, post office, of city clerk’s office in your area. You can also register online at RocktheVote.com, but make sure you drop off you’re registration to the Post Office, don’t put it in your mail box! If you need a little extra time, here are the places who will be open late.

9:00pm cut off:

  • Valencia Town Center, 24201 Valencia Boulevard (registration available from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.)
  • West Covina Mall, 112 Plaza Drive in West Covina (registration available 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.)
  • Cerritos Community College, 11110 Alondra Boulevard in Cerritos (available 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.)
  • Van Nuys District Office, 14340 West Sylvan St. in Van Nuys (available 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.)
  • East Los Angeles Library, 4837 E. 3rd St. in Los Angeles (available 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.)

Midnight Cutoff:

  • Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk’s office at 12400 Imperial Highway in Norwalk (available 5 p.m. to midnight)
  • Beverly Hills District Court at 9355 Burton Way in Beverly Hills (available 5 p.m. to midnight)
  • Magic Johnson Starbucks at 5301 W. Centinela in Los Angeles (available 5 p.m. to midnight)
