Love it or hate it, cupcakes are the hot thing in LA right now. So naturally, bakeries are popping up like wildflowers (or herpes, depending on your cupcake opinion).
Notable opening coming up: Crumbs in Larchmont Village. Well, what’s notable about it is that they’ll be giving away 1,000 free cupcakes on opening day (to whit: next Thursday, the 29th).
According to EaterLA, last time they did that the line snaked down the block and they were all gone by noon. I bet the Larchmonters are going to just love that.
Also, did we mention that our very own Christianne chose Crumbs as the pick of the litter in her quest for the Best Cupcake in LA?
So get there early, as they’re starting the giveaway at 8am.
