
- Car thief suspect shot in Sun Valley - Police were involved in a car chase that ended in gunfire when the car they were chasing, which was apparently stolen, refused to pull over. A suspect in the vehicle shot at officers more than once before crashing into a fence, where three young men got out of the vehicle. At least one officer opened fire, wounding one man.
- Motorist killed in rollover on Golden State Freeway - An unidentified motorist was killed this morning in a rollover crash on the 5 Freeway in Santa Clarita, authorities said. The accident was reported around 2:55 a.m. No further details have been released.
- 6th Street Bridge Crash leaves 1 dead, 2 hurt - A man in a Chevy Tahoe was ejected from his car during a rollover crash on the 6th Street Bridge, early Saturday morning, police said. The car was traveling eastbound on the bridge when the driver lost control, crashing into the walkway and railing of the bridge. The driver, Juan Antonio Moreno, 18, was thrown 250 feet from the crash and died at the scene. The two other passengers in the vehicle suffered injuries.
