Alright, it’s going to be brief and it’s going to be to the point, but here are some fabulous on sales to spend your well earned cash on for this weekend. In the immortal words of the prophet Fergie: “Let’s get it started… in here”:
- Coldplay: finally announced those L.A. dates that everyone has been pining for. The band will play the Forum on July 15th (woohoo: $22 parking) with tickets going on sale Saturday at 10am. Just a word of caution: the band has four days between the Forum show and their Vegas date, so if you hate the Forum (*Brian raises hand*) and are holding out for something better, I would have to imagine the band could venture to either Orange County or San Diego for a show. Then again they could just be either taking a break or waiting to add a second Forum show. Just wanted to give you a head’s up.
- There are two shows going on sale for the Pacific Amphitheater this weekend. The Wailers will headline the venue on July 17th with Eek-A-Mouse and Pato Banton opening. The following day The Wallflowers and Train will play the venue. W-o-o-h-o-o. Tickets for both shows go on sale Saturday at 10am.
- Ummm, for anyone who is interested: the New Kids on the Block reunion tour will play the Staples Center on Oct. 8. Hopefully you can hang tough until tickets go on sale Monday at 10am.
- Finally: last, but certainly not least, The Raconteurs play the Greek Theater on September 23rd. Tickets go on sale Saturday at 10am.
