People are always complaining that films and TV are getting so much more rude and explicit. Well if you take a look back at what was being made in Hollywood before 1934 you might be surprised at how prude we are now. The cinefamily will be bringing out many rarely cartoons which contain, alcohol (during the time of prohibition), swearing, body parts, toilet humor, voyeurism, and a whole lot more booze.

- An Evening with Photo-Journalist Don Farber | June 10th | 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM | Westwood Art Forum - Map | Make a reservation here | Don Farber is a world renowned photo-journalist and author of several books including “Visions of Buddhist Life.” He will be doing a lecture and slide show talking about his work over last thirty years documenting Buddhist life all over the world.

- Half Moon Animal Night Hike | June 10th | 8:00 PM - 10:00 PM | Start of hike located at Franklin Canyon Park - Map | It’s time to get out and enjoy the great outdoors, all while not going much fiurther than Beverly Hills. For those of you who are 12 years and older, join this night hike and get a chance to see coyotes, bobcats, mountain lions, frogs, toads, owls, bat, poorwills, and raccoons in their natural habitat. Wear hiking boots and bring water. You can bring a flashlight but it’s really more fun to let the moonlight shine the way.
