The 4th is only hours away, and I’ll bet dollars to donuts a good portion of you have not yet prepped for your festivities.
And it’s a good thing you haven’t, because I’ve compiled for you a handy, and delicious, list of recipes from around the web to help tantilize and titillate your palate on this, our most BBQtastic holiday of the year.
- First off, the LA Times is re-running it’s 2005 article on how to grill “the perfect burger,” although this advice might be a bit overkill for your casual ‘cue.
- The LAT also has a recipe for 3-cabbage salad that will accompany your brugers and dogs just delightfully.
- Meanwhile, Serious Eats has set up a whole “Fourth of July Grillfest,” including Grilled Ratatouille, Rosemary Shrimp and Bourbon-Glazed Baby Back Ribs (!!!)
- Serious Eats sister site A Hamburger Today asks “What’s the best cheese for a cheeseburger?”
So have yourself a wonderful 4th, don’t forget your sunscreen and grill up something tasty!
