- Marathon Dance Pool Party | July 5th | 1pm -2am| Cost $25 | Must be 21+ | Located at the Custom Hotel - 8639 Lincoln Blvd Los Angeles (Map) | It’s pool season and it’s time to party it up with a pool marathon! There will be 18+ amazing DJ’s spinning all day and night long, pool party on the 13th floor, a fashion show, sample sales, all you can eat BBQ, and a whole lot of slutty bikinis.

- Herzog Encounters @ The End of The World | July 4th is the last night | 7pm | Tickets $9.50 - Buy here or at the theater | Located at the Landmark Nuart Theatre (Map) | Werner Herzog’s (Rescue Dawn, Grizzly Man) presents his new documentary about the weirdos who live in Antarctica. For one week he’ll be running his film at the Nuart and we encourage everyone to go and experience this weird and yet beautiful excursion. Polar Man, meet Grizzly Man.

- Anime Expo 2008 | July 3rd-6th | 10am | Located at the LA Convention Center - 1201 South Figueroa Street Los Angeles (Map) | $25 for 1 Day, $50 for 2 Days, $65 for 4 Days | I know LA has plenty of you anime, manga and j-pop fans out there. Now if your time to dress to the hilt and meet others of your kind.
