This Sunday, July 13, at 7:30pm at the Hollywood Bowl, the Los Angeles Philharmonic brings you Bizet’s Carmen. LA.CityZine will be giving away two tickets to the winner of our drawing. All you have to do is leave a comment below saying why you want to go and you’ll be entered to win! Carmen is one of the most passionate operas performed today. Denyce Graves, sultry performance in the title role is being applauded everywhere. And just to add a little sugar on top, all proceeds go towards the Los Angeles Philharmonic Musicians Pension Fund, which helps many local LA musicians.

Enter me in the contest! I would love to see “Carmen.” It’s one of my favorite operas, and seeing it at a venue like the Hollywood Bowl would be a special treat.

I remember being mesmerized as a child when saw/listened to parts of Carmen on our Soviet black-and-white TV. I would be very happy to take my mother-in-law with me who is currently helping me very much. I bet it would be a great surprise for her!
