- A-Rod and Shaq had a meeting of the minds at 40/40 club Monday night. Witnesses saw the two with their heads together for a short amount of time at a party hosted by Alex. Guess what music was playing? Yeah, that’s right. Madonna. I bet Shaq was asking A-Rod if he knew her. And, no, I don’t think Shaq was being sarcastic, I think he sincerely wanted to know.
- The twins are really here and the world is collectively overjoyed. Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie welcomed a boy, Knox Leon and a girl, Vivienne Marcheline, by Cesarean section on Saturday night. The twins are the fifth and sixth kids of the couple and Knox is their third child with a first name ending in X, earning him the nickname ‘Triple-X’ or just ‘XXX’. Well, at least in my house. At least with, um, me. Okay, then. Congrats to the Jolie-Pitt family.
- Katy Perry wants to kiss Miley Cyrus. When asked who her dream same sex smooch was in the latest issue of Steppin’ Out magazine, she responded, “Miley Cyrus! She’s the lucky girl. It’s cool to hear through the grapevine that Miley Cyrus has my song as her ring tone.” No, no, Katy! Wrong answer! You were really cute with your whole “cherry chapstick” thing when we thought you were referring to girls old enough to drink but now we’re just creeped out. Miley Cyrus is 15! People can’t even stand to see her pose with her back exposed much less picture her kissing an older woman! Look what happened to Annie Lebowitz. Poor Katy. She’ll never babysit in this town again.
- Khloe Kardashian is a goin’ to the slammer. Shame because this is my favorite Kardashian of all the Kardashians in the whole Kardashian world. Anyway, Khoe got a DUI last March (she blew a .13!) and was sentenced to community service and an alcohol education program, neither of which she completed. So, the judge sentenced Khloe to 30 days in jail where she can think about what she’s done. Big sis Kim has already made it about herself and written on her blog: “Khloe is ready and willing to serve out her sentence, no matter how long and where, and have this resolved. I urge people to learn from the mistakes of others. Please drink responsibly and it’s never acceptable to drink and drive!” You tell ‘em Kim.
- Megan Fox was told to gain 10 pounds for the Transformers sequel. I think this is shocking. Why would they make a sequel? My nephew made me watch the first one and I just didn’t get it. I found the nerds in Clerks 2 talking about Transformers way more interesting than actually watching the movie. Oh, but back to Megan Fox. Allegedly, Michael Bay does not like skinny girls so yay for him. Megan’s diet? “I eat red velvet cake before I go to bed every night,” she said. “And if you eat meals later, you’ll put on weight faster, so I had dinner at 10 p.m.” Sounds like a plan.

I didn’t get the whole transformers thing either. I fell asleep at the movies half way through - I never fall asleep in a movie at the theatre! I won’t be going to see number 2.
