- Father arrested for crash that kills son - Mario Campos, 25, was arrested on suspicion of drunk driving after the car he was driving crashed into a pole, killing his 5-year-old son. The crash took place at 90th street and Avenue N in Palmdale last night at about 6:15 p.m. Daisy Moreno, 24 and 1-year-old Victoria Campos were taken to a hospital to be treated for moderate injuries
- Woman killed in gang related shooting - Marlene Donaldson, 36, was killed during a gang-related shooting attack in South L.A. while attending at party at about 9:40 p.m. at South Central Avenue and East 119th Street. Donaldson was pronounced dead at the scene.
- Three men inured during shooting attack at warehouse - Three men (one in his 20s, two in their 50s) were taken to area hospitals by Paramedics after they were wounded in a shooting at a glass warehouse. The attack occurred in a warehouse on Lanzit Street near Central Avenue, by the 105 freeway.
