This makes me sad. Allegedly, Christian Bale, spent four hours at a London police station for assaulting this mother and sister and was then released on bail. What makes me sad is that the poor guy can’t even get in a scuffle with his family without the world knowing. Christian Bale is one of my favorite actors, not only because he’s an amazing actor but also because he stays far away from the public eye. He’s been catapulted to super-star status and remains out of the headlines and continues to focus on his WORK and not his image.
Bale’s attorneys released a statement Tuesday denying the allegation:
“Christian Bale attended a London police station today, on a voluntary basis, in order to assist with an allegation that had been made against him to the police by his mother and sister. Mr. Bale who denies the allegation, co-operated throughout, gave his account in full of the events in question, and has left the station without any charge being made against him by the police. At this time, there will be no further comment by Mr. Bale.”
He was able to see the screening of “The Dark Knight” in London that night. No one knows what happened in this little scuffle. A woman “thought to be Bale’s sister Sharon told reporters ‘it’s a family matter’.” But who the hell knows if that was really his sister or what really happened. All anyone knows is that is happened behind closed doors.

“A 34-year-old man attended a Central London police station this morning and was arrested in connection with an allegation of assault,” a police spokesman said.
British police do not name suspects before they are formally charged.
The force later said in a statement that the man had been released on bail pending further inquiries and told to return on an unspecified date in September.
Bale allegedly lashed out at his relatives in his suite at Park Lane’s Dorchester Hotel on Sunday.
According to Sky News, Bale’s mother Jenny, 61, and sister Sharon, 40, went to police on Monday to make a formal allegation against Bale. The complaint about the actor was then passed on to the Metropolitan Police for further investigation.
