Here we go again! Your (almost) weekly give-away to the Hollywood Bowl! What do we have for you now? Reggae Night baby. Oh yeah. With artists UB40, Beres Hammond, and Barrington Levy. This will be the seventh time the Hollywood Bowl has put on this event and every time it’s enjoyable. And don’t tell me you all haven’t sung along to “Red, Red Wine” or “Can’t Help Falling in Love” at some point in your life.
One of my favorite parts about the Hollywood Bowl is that you are allowed to bring in your own picnic baskets and wine into the Hollywood Bowl. All you have to do to win is leave a comment below with you favorite Hollywood Bowl picnic basket and you’ll be entered in a drawing to win two tickets to the show. The winner will be announced Wednesday July 30rd on LA.CityZine.
If you just can’t wait you can buy your tickets here for $10-$96.

I’d take a bottle of red red wine, small lasagna, french bread, and just a pinch of chocolate cheescake. Oh, and a blanket.

Chocolate Cupcakes, Kugel and a Caesar Salad. It’s good, don’t judge. I’d also bring several pillows and cushions, they rent out cushions at a ridiculous cost. Oh, and a pair of really warm thick socks so I could take off my shoes and be extra comfy.

Mini fruit tarts and sparkling peach flavored water. Too much fruit?

Strawberries, blueberries, buttermilk scones; a thermos of decaf with just a smidgen (or two) of Bailey’s irish creme.

they charge 75 cents to rent a cushion…what’s so ridiculous about that?
