- Griffith Park fire contained - A brushfire that scorched 25 acres in Griffith Park caused thousands to evacuate this afternoon. No injuries or damage to homes and buildings were reported the Daily News. About 200 firefighters fought the fire for 3 hours before containing it. The on and off ramps to Victory Boulevard at the 134 Freeway were closed, however they did reopen around 4:30 p.m.
- Shia Lebouf arrested after car crash in Hollywood - Actor Shia LeBeouf, most recently of Indian Jones fame, was arrested on suspicion of drunk driving Sunday after an accident in which he was injured. The vehicle he was driving was involved in a collision in Hollywood at 3 a.m. LeBeouf was headed northbound on La Brea Avenua when he tried to turn left on Fountain Avenue. The cause of the crash remains under investigation. He was taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, where he was treated for a minor head injury. Following the treatment, he was booked for a misdemeanor DUI.
- Pasadena boy wanders away from home and is now lost - DaJuan Elliot Brown, 10, wandered away from the home he shares with his grandmother and now, Pasadena Police are asking the public’s help to locate him. The boy was last seen around 4 p.m. yesterday near 1257 N.Wilson Ave. DaJuan is black, about 5 feet 4 inches, 140 pounsd with light skin and short hair, police said. Police used scent dogs and a helicopter search to find him Saturday night, however they were unsuccessful. Anyone with more information as to his whereabouts was asked to call the Pasadena police at (626) 744-4620 or (626) 744-424
