This sale deserves its own post.
So, in less than 30 minutes I spent more than $200 Thursday at one store, LF. Because every item of clothing in LF’s inventory is frickin’ adorable. And currently discounted 60%.
While it is a very trendy and youthful store in some sense, you can definitely still find basics (tanks in glorious colors, jeans in equally cool colors, flip-flops, v-neck t-shirts, underwear) if you’re not interested in the peacock-feather earrings or the hot pink plastic jelly thongs studded with gems. But I don’t think anyone could go in this store and not find something - just the colors alone of the clothing are enough to put anyone in a good mood, if nothing else! And the chance to get a $40 brighter-than-neon lime tank for 15 and an almost $200 pair of faded, 80’s-ish jeans for $70, are other reasons to smile. And plus, some of the designers sold there like Emma and Sam are not commonly available.
The sale started Thursday and was (and hopefully will be still) chock full of goodies. But, what’s there is there, and what sells is gone. So while I always say this, the LF sale is one you will want to hurry and hit. And one where, if you see something and you like it but it’s not the right season, or bla, bla, bla, you already have a shirt in the same color in your hand, etcetera, just buy it.
Because there are very few sales a year at LF, and even the summer season stuff that might deter you because it’s bright or whatever, can still be layered or combined with something darker to become more winter-fied. So no excuses, buy up!
When: Now, until the stuff runs out (meaning soon).
Where: Luckily, a few locations, to disperse the crowds. Unless maniacs like me hit up every location to get the most stuff possible…

I wasn’t totally kidding about the idea of going to every store. I mean, you’ll definitely find different stuff still left at each location. And hey, if you’re at the Montana one, you’re in Santa Monica - might as well head over to Main Street too!
