- Avril Lavigne is “too sexy” to play Malaysia. Avril’s upcoming concert on August 29th might just be canceled if the Islamic Party has their way. They think Avril’s act is too sexy. This isn’t the first time something like this has occurred. Gwen Stefani and the Pussycat Dolls were also asked to cover up and to tone down their, um, sexiness to play Malaysia. Here’s what a party official had to say about Avril’s show: “It is considered too sexy for us…it’s not good for viewers in Malaysia. We don’t want our people, our teenagers, influenced by their performance. We want clean artists, artists that are good role models.” He then cleared his throat and said, no SK8er Boiz here, bi-atch. Just kidding. He didn’t say that, but he was thinking it.
- Heidi Montag releases yet another song. This one’s called, “Overdosin’”. Yeah, I know. She must be stopped! What is that even supposed to mean, right? Can you say poor taste? Well, to hear Heidi explain it, “Overdosin’” is about “when you fall in love with someone… and [you're] just overdosing off of their love.” Grody. She told Ryan Seacrest that on his show and you know even he was puking in his mouth a little. Click here to listen if you enjoy pain.
- Jen and John broke up, ya heard? Yeah, wow. We’re all shocked and saddened. Okay, not really. They kind-of creeped me out as a couple. I like her and I’ll admit to having some John Mayer on my iPod but together they were just ick, right? Anyway, John took credit for the breakup, telling reporters, “I ended a relationship to be alone, because I don’t want to waste somebody’s time if something’s not right.” I bet she dumped him. He sounds too defensive. He went on to describe Ms. Aniston as “the smartest, most sophisticated person I think I have ever met,” which is just another way of saying that she’s old.
- Scarlett Johansson is Kanye West’s “Favorite White Girl”. That is just so weird. Kanye put up a blog on his site entitled, “My Favorite White Girl!!!!”. It basically just had tons of photos of Scarlett. Click here to check it out. Am I crazy or is this bizarre? It’s like he’s a high-school kid with a crush that spent all evening google imaging Scarlett instead of doing his Trig homework. Dude.
- Ellen and Portia tied the knot over the weekend! I love California. Seriously, how hard does our state rock? Yay, our state! The couple got hitched at their home on Saturday night. Ellen told People Magazine, “What can I say? I’m the luckiest girl in the world. She’s officially off the market. No one else gets her.
