- Shannen Doherty denies ever fist-fighting with Jennie Garth. In the new issue of Us Weekly, Heather Duke tells the mag, “”We never did. I think I would remember Jennie’s fist connecting with a part of my body or a part of my face.” “It just goes to show you how people will lie,” she goes on to say of Tori Spelling’s account of the alleged fight (in Tori’s autobiography). Burn! So, Tori made it up? Ooooh, maybe now Tori and Shannen will get in a fight over whether or not Shannen and Jennie got in a fight! Awesome.
- Tim Gunn does not approve of Katie Holme’s baggy jeans. When asked by People magazine about Katie’s newfound affection for rolled up over-sized denim, Tim said, “She ascended from this tomboyish waif look to an incredible sexy sophisticate. We realize how much style she’s capable of. I don’t get it.” I love it when Tim Gunn says “I don’t get it.” When he says that, you have to change whatever it is immediately. Like if he says, “I don’t get it,” about your life in general, you better find a cliff to jump off of. Seriously. He knows his shit.
- Samantha Ronson strikes back at Michael Lohan on, where else, her Myspace page. So, here’s the awful skinny. Lindsey’s dad heard SamRo was writing a biography and issued this statement to the media: “She’s using my daughter. People never even knew who Samantha Ronson was until she met Lindsay. She was just some L.A. DJ. And now she’s writing a book? I am at wit’s end with this stuff. This is not in Lindsay’s best interest.” Samantha insists she’s not writing about Lindsey and lashed back at Michael on her Myspace page saying, “i just pity him- i am not standing in his way- i am not the reason that he has no contact with his daughter- he is- his need to throw a tantrum for the whole world to hear is- i am not going to go into a play by play defense- i feel no need to publicly defend my role in lindsay’s life- i’m just sorry that she likes me more than him.”
- Charlie Sheen and his new wife, Brooke are expecting. A baby. They’re expecting a baby, people. What else? Babies are the new purse dogs of Hollywood. Pretty cool, as trends go. Cuter than Ugg boots and more interesting than celebrity fragrances, right? Anyway, Brooke is definitely preggers. Charlie confirmed in a statement Monday, saying, “Brooke and I are thrilled! She’s the best stepmom Sam, Lola and Cassandra could ever hope for. Seeing her love and affection with those three, I know she’ll be an amazing mom. Unless I bat 100 percent, perhaps a boy awaits us.” Congrats to the happy couple.

Um, okay. . . Samantha is using Lindsey? And what exactly does Michael think he’s doing? Some evangelical parental deed? SamRo’s scoring more box tops on this one. Lindsay’s looking much happier with her than her dad.
(Sidepoint: I was watching the first episode on season 2 of “The Hills” (justified guilty pleasure) and they were filming in front of Area nightclub - SamRo was there, and I was like ‘omigod it’s SamRo’. . . and I was ashamed. Very.)
