Here are a list of crazy laws that apply to California.
- A city ordinance states that a $500 fine will be given to anyone who detonates a nuclear device within city limits.
- Alhambra: You cannot leave your car on the street overnight without the proper permit.
- Animals are banned from mating publicly within 1,500 feet of a tavern, school, or place of worship.
- A regulation in San Francisco makes it unlawful to use used underwear to wipe off cars in a car wash.
- Arcadia: Peacocks have the right of way to cross any street, including driveways.
- A server in California can be convicted of selling to a minor if the purchaser uses a false or altered ID to buy the alcohol.
- Baldwin Park: Nobody is allowed to ride a bicycle in a swimming pool.
- Bathhouses are against the law.
- Belvedere City Council order reads: “No dog shall be in a public place without its master on a leash.”
- Blythe: You are not permitted to wear cowboy boots unless you already own at least two cows.

At 3.31pm Heath Ledger, 28, was found dead in a New York apartment building at 421 Broome Street in SoHo, according to the New York City police.
NYPD spokesman Paul Browne told The Associated Press that Ledger had an appointment for a massage at the Manhattan apartment that is believed to be his home. The housekeeper who went to let Ledger know the masseuse was there, and found him dead at 3:26 p.m
The NYPD said they do not suspect foul play and said they found pills near body. A call to the Heath Ledger’s publicist was not returned.
The 28-year-old actor has a two year old daughter with former fiancee Michelle Williams. He was set to play the Joker in the upcoming Batman film “The Dark Knight.”

So it would also appear that we have another fan of “Father’s Office” which couldn’t help but piss me off. Since Louis’ review “The Office” has been a regularish place for Friday night drinks, due to its walking/stumbling distance to home. While the food and beer is undeniable great the staff (aka door man) is the probably the rudest man to work in the service industry, at first I was convinced that it was just because I am a Royal pain in the ass, and prone to complaining about anything, however after dragging down much nicer, more charming and polite people than myself, we all universally hated him.

I am not going to comment on the camera man, however, I cannot help but feel that things like this, trivial as this example maybe, reinforce the “them” and “us” attitude that makes their job that much harder.

Malibu Council voted 5 - 0 in favor of prohibiting overnight camping sites in Malibu parks.
The Santa Monica Mountains Conservancy were fighting to maintain access and increase recreational use of the hills and canyons.
It seems that the fear of the still fresh in the mind fires caused the council to vote in favor of what seems to be the feeling of the majority of Malibu residents.
