Ever since I was a little kid, I have been obsessed with anything that sparkles. My mom would see a hideous, glittery ring at a garage sale and buy it for 25 cents because she knew I would be in awe of it for at least a week, worshipping it like a relic of the Cross or some other equally valuable yet less sparkly holy object. And that hasn’t changed. Yes, I’ve grown much less gaudy in my glitter taste since my middle school days of shimmery blue eye shadow, but it’s quite a rare day that goes by when I am not adorned by the diamond’s bastard cousin, the rhinestone.

It’s everybody’s favorite time of fall. No, not leaves falling from the trees or daylight savings….it’s makeover time on America’s Next Top Model! That’s right, the hub of all drama for every season aired this Wednesday night, with quite surprising and atypical results. Remember Cassandra from a few seasons back, whose would-be Mia Farrow do eventually got her the boot because she refused to chop another measly quarter inch off in order to achieve Queen Tyra’s desired look? Those short cuts get those skinny bitches every time.

One thing I always liked about America’s Next Top Model above other reality shows (because, let’s face it, I have a weakness for most of them) is that while there is, of course, tons of drama (with thirteen-plus girls just old enough to drink in the house, how could there not be) the final product of the show is always about the PICTURES.

I love “America’s Next Top Model.â? Seriously L-O-V-E, would ask Jude Law to wait until Thursday for our date (yes, we have one scheduled), have missed an essay deadline because of it, love “America’s Next Top Model.â?
Now that I’ve made sure you know that, I can ask this without seeming like all those other bitches who hate: a TRAECH scar? Like Debbie or whoever that scary-voiced old smoker on the PSA from the ’90s was? I get it. Tyra’s got the girls doing their own anti-smoking ads, showing the little girls (like meeee!) who love love love ANTM the cancer sticks models eat for breakfast, lunch, and dinner are turning them into Debbie-like hags who are ugly ON THE INSIDE.
