Jon Mann-Krieger is a pioneer in the world of blueberry muffins. He was the first to realize that the ordinary muffin could be made extraordinary by combining it with a berry that was blue. He has been praised for his breakthroughs in muffineering. He also enjoys talking in third person.

Alright… I’ve gotten a little time to tickle your movie bone. Not much. I am only doing it for one reason. The massive amount of geeky crap that’s surfaced. So let’s get to it so I can do the things that need to be done.
- Full Iron Man movie trailer. New. Watch it. Now. Don’t dare defy me by saying it will not rock. Epic.
- In other trailer-nanigans…The full Get Smart Trailer is here. What do you guys think?
- BTW, that whole Where In The World Is Osama Bin Laden movie I mentioned months ago with the guy that ate McDonalds for a month. Yeah. He didn’t find him. Big ol’ marketing being lame. So don’t go see it. Trailer here. Screw Morgan Spurlock.
- So the end of Scrubs was near. I never got into the show but it seemed cute. But supposedly, it might move on over to ABC and keep on going. Hope that excites you Garden State fans.
- Everyone should have seen the Indiana Jones trailer by now. Going to post it anyway. I cross my fingers that it’s great.
- Watch the new Judd Apatow Pot/Comedy/Action thing, Pineapple Express, before it’s too late. Red Band trailer, btw. “God’s Vagina”. Never thought you’d see James Franco in that kind of a role, eh? He’s gonna nail it. Awesome trailer.

It’s 6:00 p.m. on Friday night. I’m sitting at home trying to convince other humanoids to watch some Indiana Jones with me. But no. Let’s make Jon go and find out how other people can have fun tonight. Yay!
- Training Bra 4 Year Anniversary with DROID: For all I know, this is a celebration of Star Wars’ characters in lingerie. I’m down. But if you click the link you will find out more about this electro-music-fueled-breast-holding event. 9 p.m. - 2 a.m. at Que Sera.
- The SPLIFF: Something about a lot of “raw stuff” and urban things. It’s free.
- Under The Influence: A Tribute to Stan Lee: Gallery 1988 pays tribute to Stan Lee. As the comic world calls him: The Man.
- Date In L.A.’s Mardi Gras Madness: At the Skirball Cultural Center. They claim this is the “party in L.A. you don’t want to miss.” Well. You’re at home reading this. You’re missing the party that, apparently, you should not be missing…
And here we are, at the end of this article. I’m still not watching Indiana Jones and you’re still on the internet. Touche, my friend. Please. For the sake of me. GO do something. Or just watch some Indie and think of me.
(save me)

Ah yes. The big question. Do you read this and potentially spoil the movie or do you wait until Friday? I have good news for you. I’m not going to spoil the movie… much. I really don’t think that much can be spoiled. Everyone has been going crazy about this monster and what it looks like. What is Cloverfield? What is this all about? The marketing of the movie has been brilliant. Absolutely brilliant. Everyone wants to know: What is it?
And that’s why you will go see it and why so many millions of others will see it. It will destroy the competition. I know this because I just saw it. Yes. I know. I am a bastard. I sat with a couple hundred geeks/journalists/grown up theater kids in the Paramount Theater and watched what everyone is dying to see. If you want to so their reviews, they’re at the bottom.

Alright alright. Calm down. I know it hasn’t been weekly the past few weeks. I’ve been on top secret missions to try and find out the best information I could for you. It hasn’t been easy… but it has paid off. By the time you’re done reading this, you will have forgotten that I was ever gone and be praising my skills. Well… maybe not.
Anyway, the first thing I did was go undercover as Charlize Theron in Will Smith’s Hancock to get you a glimpse of the new poster and teaser. If you haven’t checked out the teaser yet do so and tell me what you think. Has some potential. I like the concept. Anyway, had to leave the set right before a romantic scene that would have given away my disguise.

Alright my little snuggle-muffs. I believe that is Spanish for “geeks”. Or is it “nerds”? Not too much going on lately, but enough eye candy to lick some sweetness off of. Some cool posters and a neat Will Smith superhero teaser. Check it out my minions… p.s. make sure you watch the trailer for the last bullet. It will make your Easter…
- Cool trailer for Will Smith’s Hancock superhero movie is on now. View it
here. [Which Sony seem to have removed from all parts of the interweb, if someone finds a link let us know and we will update the story - Ed]
- Three awesome Dark Knight Posters here, here, and here.
- Speaking of posters… the LSD inspired Speed Racer poster is up here.
- Want to know all the plot details for Terminator 4? Read this.
- Hellboy II trailer up today. Chek it out here.
- Boo hoo. No Peter Jackson directing silly Hobbits in the next two flicks. As Louis mentioned, he will be very involved and producing… but who is to direct? It is rumored that Sam Raimi and Guillermo del Toro are in talks.
- Neill Clumpston over at Aint It Cool News has seen Cloverfield’s monster eating some heads. Click here to read what he has to say. Be warned about spoilers. I stop at “eating heads”.
- OH CRAP! I Forgot. I hope you stuck around to the end of this. The MOST AMAZING trailer ever made. This movie WILL KICK YOUR ASS! WATCH IT NOW!

Wow. I have about twenty tabs open full of juicy info. This week was a good one. We have a little bit of this… a little bit of that… and more. My job is to take those twenty tabs of information, put it through the Jonslator, and slap it all on this page. Now remember people, I do this for YOU… because I love you.
Alright. This week we’re branching out beyond the “nerdy movie news”, as it has been called. I thought all everyone cared about was superheroes. Maybe I was wrong. I do refuse to post anything that lacks excitement in my little mind. So do enjoy what I have for you. It’s a good batch this week. [Read more →]

It’s officially December. I have now accepted the Christmas vibe into my heart. It has been cold enough and I’ve had my nog. Now it’s time to revisist my favorite tradition in the valley. Good ol’ Candy Cane Lane off Winnetka.
I don’t know of any other neighborhoods that puts up a great Christmas light spectacle like this one. My mom used to take me and my friends every year in her convertible Volswagon Cabriolet. We would have the top down and sit up on top of the back seats, oohing and aahing and all the awesome decorations. Now I go with my girlfriend and ooh and aah with her. [Read more →]
