Fighting Guerrilla Warriors with Conventional Tactics All for the Sake of Godly Profits
“War on terror” coins a sacred phrase in the Iraq crusade. Karl Rove, high priest of spin, led the neocons’ faithful choir through the doctrinal hymns, especially regarding Bush’s military mission.
Now the Sanctified Church of Later Day Neocons has anointed John McCain to take the pulpit for the steadfast congregation, a political party on a mission from God, bowing down to corporate avarice at the detriment of public interests.

New Website: Reserve a Table in LA Today
August 6th, 2008 Written by: Mali · No Comments
Los Angeles can be a bitch sometimes. Trying to get a table at a popular restaurant can sometimes seem next to impossibly. You either have to book them two months in advance or eat you appetizers at 5pm or 11pm. I think I’ve wanted to take my boyfriend somewhere special a number of times but have realized that there is just no way to get in last minute. Although I know some people think ahead and book a birthday dinner 3 months it advance, but for me, it’s more like 3 nights in advance. Who the hell has time for this stuff? And it shouldn’t be so damn impossible for you and a loved one to go out to a nice meal together at 7:30.
Well now there is a website to change all that! LA.TableExhange.com has tables available at any many more, for you at 7:30pm tonight, tomorrow, whenever you want them. It costs $10ish to “reserve” the table, which I admit is a bit annoying, but I know many of you have been in a jam before and $10 is really a great deal for making someone else’s night special. Hell at those places I’m sure the tax won’t even add up to $10.

Cocktail: Vodka Rosemary Fizz
August 5th, 2008 Written by: Louis · No Comments
There’s nothing more pleasant than a nice brisk and refreshing cocktail on a warm summer afternoon to help you cool off and unwind. And with the Monday blues still lingering, I thought I’d share this fantastic recipe for a rosemary-infused cocktail!
First off, you need to start with some Rosemary Simple Syrup (or alternatively you can use the even more delicious-sounding Lemon Verbena Simple Syrup). Apartment Therapy’s The Kitchn has a very simple instructions on how to make both the Rosemary and the Lemon Verbena.
From there, it’s even easier.

You know all those shows, late at night, that try to sell you things? And somehow, magically it’s always EXACTLY what you’ve been looking for. No problems at all. Well people they’re a scam. The cream doesn’t actually make you hair grow back, the hair removal wax will hurt just as much as ever, and in this case the photo you are printing out will look exactly the same!

Comic Con enthusiasts all over the world are probably somewhere in their parent’s basement, crying, as the international multigenre fan convention came to an end on Sunday. Maybe you are too. Fret not, as comedian Rich Kuras from EffinFunny trekked all over Comic Con International to bring you astounding and insightful social commentary about the upcoming presidential election from Hell Raiser, Super Mario, a Jawa and many more during his stint as a reporter for Mania. This 5 minute clip takes hilariousity to a whole new level. I should know, I’ve watched it twice already.
