At War With the UK: Who The Hell Do They Think They Are?!

October 31st, 2007 Written by: Louis· 2 Comments

BartWhile hard at work perusing Digg, I happened upon this link.

WTF?

First off, why is the Guardian, a British paper, doing LA restaurant reviews? Do London restaurant reviews. I don’t do London pub reviews.

Secondly, why the hell are they doing burger reviews? Why they gotta rip me off like that?

And as if that wasn’t bad enough, Father’s Office ranks second, In-N-Out third and a fish restaurant fourth? Bacon, avocado and blue cheese? Oh, right. It’s an English paper.

I could almost possibly maybe try and attempt to overlook some of this insanity, but to LEAVE 25 DEGREES OFF THE LIST?

F minus.

Nice one, Luis. God-damned Brits. Why can’t people who’ve been kicked out stay? Some people just can’t take a hint.
There probably Brits in America right now, masquerading as normal people, running blogs, and passing them off as local journalism. I suppose we can let that slide, as it is Halloween.
And isn’t the standard procedure to give plagiarism the grade of zero? Your F- was too generous.

[...] The Bowery 6268 Sunset Blvd Hollywood (323) 465-3400 $$ I’m not sure what qualifies a bistro as being “quintessential New York,” whether it’s the cramped quarters, the noise level, or what, but I decided to visit this little Hollywood hot-spot based on the recommendations of some rat bastards.
